“After every dark night, there is a bright day, and that always gives me hope.” -Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, TLC. Life is full of highs and lows. Sometimes during the lows, we experience suffering. During those times of rock bottom, we may not know what to do or who to turn to. While experiencing these trials and tribulations, the hope is that we’re able to pull ourselves from the depths of despair by becoming a stronger person than we were prior. While participating in therapy, we can work together towards navigating pressing issues and improving overall satisfaction with life.
I have a desire to improve the quality of the lives of others. I work from an empathetic and encouraging approach while utilizing concepts of DBT, CBT, Existentialism and/or Person-Centered. I work with adults 18 – 65 to help them overcome struggles with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, stress or self-esteem and return toward a life of fulfillment.
Whenever we feel like our life is in crisis, counseling is an option to guide us back on track. It’s often that these challenges help us grow as a person. My belief is that everyone can find meaning in suffering and discover strengths from within. Send me an email or give me to call to get started on working toward your best self.
